Something that can help each of us as we continue to wrestle with challenging circumstances is to create a little space between us and the fears that might be running through us.
As we create that space we find that the fear has less control and we start to feel a little more quiet and calm. There’s a simple way to do this, and that includes getting that fear out of your head and onto a piece of paper.
To be clear – this isn’t a magic bullet (there is no such thing), but it’s something easy that can help you start to reflect on the experience you are having. Bottling up fear just leads to more fear. This is part 1 of 3 for the skill that I teach folks in order to build a little more calm and clarity into their lives.
