Videos to help you optimize your life
One useful tool when trying to identify where to focus your attention for meaningful change is to pay attention to what you are projecting on others. This might sound kind of crazy, but any time you are giving advice to somebody else, you are likely trying to also give yourself the same advice.
When somebody else does something ‘wrong’ it is often just as true that you are worried about doing that ‘wrong’ thing yourself. As a silly example, if somebody cuts you off in traffic and you scream at them from the comfort of your vehicle that they should pay more attention and care about the people around them…. ask yourself how effectively you truly pay attention and how good you are about caring about the people around you.
